AIM Computer Solutions Attending AIAG 2019 Quality Summit

 In Event

AIM Computer Solutions has a long history of support and collaboration with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) that works hard to streamline automotive industry processes. That’s why we’ll be attending and exhibiting at AIAG 2019 Quality Summit, October 2-3, 2019 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan.

Conferences like the AIAG Quality Summit this give us terrific opportunities to touch base with customers, colleagues and friends. While you’re networking and meeting up, stop by our booth #7, and drop off your business card in our raffle for a $50 gas gift card.

This year’s Quality Summit looks at training and what it takes to go beyond basic training to instill real competence in employees. More than baseline training, it’s about competence in activities that can make or break conformation to product and process requirements. The two-day conference will examine the competency requirements in IATF 16949, provide insights on methods and tools for assessing quality competencies, and share best practices from organizations that are excelling in this arena.

Quality Summit Speakers

The AIAG Quality Summit speaker lineup is an impressive one. On the first day, we’re eager to hear from Volvo Group Trucks Senior Vice President for Supplier Quality and Development, Martin Ranäng. He’ll be talking about the importance of employee competence throughout the workforce.

The OEM panel with representatives from GM, Ford, FCA and Honda will discuss their transition plans for the recently released AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook.

Breakout sessions offer a variety of choices for participants, from employee competency and gap analysis, second party audits, and environmental compliance issues, to warranty claims and using MSA as a competitive advantage. There’s something for everyone.

On the second day of the conference, we’ll hear a Certification Body panel discussion on how CBs are ensuring robust and effective ISO 9001 audits, which help ensure better IATF 16949 audits.

The keynote wrap-up presentation from NBA All Star and motivational speaker Mark Eaton is sure to be a showstopper. He’ll describe The Four Commitments of a Winning Team, sharing stories from his professional endeavors. He’ll talk about the essential keys to building a winning team.

Join us October 2-3 at the 2019 AIAG Quality Summit and stop by booth #7.
