Key Features of the EDI Workbench 

1. Comprehensive Transactions Tab 

The Inbound EDI Transactions Tab in the EDI Workbench offers a detailed summary of inbound documents, including 830/DELFOR, 862/DELJIT, 850/ORDER, and 860/ORDCHG. With this tool, users can: 

• Track Order Status and Exceptions: Monitor each transaction’s status, including orders received, updates, exceptions, and warnings.

• Track Acknowledgement Tracking: View the status of 997 acknowledgements, which indicate if it’s not required, created, or sent. Once the transaction is compete, it displays in green, making it easy to see when a transaction is fully processed. 

• Customize Filtering Options: Filter transactions by criteria such as Company, Trading Partner, Document Type, CI/CO File, and Date Range, This customization allows users to focus on the most relevant data.

• Drill Down into Detailed Transaction Filtering: Further refined results by filtering each transaction based on Order Status, Destination, Customer Part, and Purchase Order. This detailed filtering provides deeper insights into each transaction.

2. Unprocessed Transactions View 

For transactions that cannot be processed, the EDI Workbench includes an Unprocessed Transactions view. Here, users can view each unprocessed transaction along with detailed messages identical to the information available in the EDI Mailbox. An intuitive icon displays the number of unprocessed transactions, making it easy to identify and address any issues.

3. Expand/Compress Feature for Enhanced Viewing

The AIM Vision EDI Workbench includes an Expand/Compress feature, making it easy to adjust the number of transaction rows displayed. Users can expand rows to see more data at once or double-click on any row to open a focused view with detailed Order Status information. This feature is especially useful for reviewing large data sets at a glance.

4. Auto Refresh Capability for Real-Time Data

To ensure users always have the most up-to-date information, the EDI Workbench offers both manual and automatic refresh options. By activating Auto Refresh, the screen updates every 20 seconds, giving users a real-time view of transaction data without the need for constant manual updates. This feature is crucial for high-paced environments where accurate, current information is essential.

Pending Outbound Transactions Tab 

The Pending Outbound Transactions Tab shows all shippers that require an ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) but have not yet been sent. Users can double-click on any row to view detailed line information for each pending transaction. This added layer of visibility ensures that shipments are on track, and ASNs are completed accurately and on time, reducing potential delays and errors.
